A: Yes very, we aim to make the recycling process as simple as possible by providing all your office recycling bins & desk trays. We offer a very personal service & aim to tailor each service around your needs. We understand that it may take weeks or even months to get the recycling service working as well as you would like & we will help you all the way.

Q: Do Green Deeds Ltd provide large wheelie bins at 660L or 1100L sizes?

A: Yes however please contact the team to enquire about availability. Our recycling services are also ideal for office's with no outside space for waste bins, we do also provide  240L wheelie bins.

Q: Are Green Deeds Ltd owned by a larger company?

A: No, we are a privately owned UK company, our head office is based in Bedfordshire.

Q: Are Green Deeds Ltd fully licensed?

A: Yes we have many licenses regarding recycling. We are fully licensed by the Environment Agency as a waste carrier & also to collect, sort, bale & reprocess waste at our unit in Bedfordshire. For more information please click here.

Q: Can we change our collection frequency if we find we selected a too frequent or not frequent enough service?

A: Yes, that is not a problem, it is important that the recycling service fit's around your office practices.

Q: What types of company's do you provide recycling services for?

A: A wide range of company's including government agencies, energy companies, charities, solicitors, accountants, estate & letting agents, travel agents, catering suppliers, film productions, marketing companies, recruitment agencies, event management companies, insurance brokers & construction offices. We are always looking for new industries to help recycle with.

Q: How are the bins labelled?

A: The recycling bins are labelled to your liking, however they tend to be paper/cardboard & mixed: plastics, cans & glass.

Q: What is the maximum amount of waste that you will collect in one collection?

A: That depends on which service you require, please visit our office recycling services section.

Q: What is a duty of care waste transfer note?

A: A waste transfer note shows carriers and site operators who handle your waste that they are dealing with so that they can manage it safely and legally. Waste transfer notes also ensure there is a clear audit trail from when the waste is produced until it is disposed of. It is a legal require when dealing with waste of all types & amounts.

Q: What do Green Deeds Ltd do with the waste collected?

A: We produce animal bedding & paper log briquettes (for fires) from some of the paper collected & produce a wide range of items from cardboard, plastic bottles & cups & cans. If you would like more information on the items we produce please contact us. Any waste we cannot reuse or reprocess ourselves we provide to specialised recycling facilities across the UK.

Q: How can we pay?

A: Green Deeds Ltd accept BACS payment, however most of our customers are happy to setup a standing order for their payments. The payments can be monthly, quarterly or annually.

Q: Is the collection always on the same day of the week?

A: Yes, we also provide each company with a collection calendar for the collections throughout the year ahead prior to the start of the service which clearly state the collection day.

Q: How long does it take to setup the recycling service.

A: Normally between 2 - 3 weeks, once the contract is signed, you just need to tell us how many bins and/or desk trays you require.

Q: What areas do you cover?

Q: Do you provide one-off collections of recyclable materials?

A: Yes, the price of these collections are worked out on an individual basis depending on the amount of waste, what materials being collected & vehicles in the area.
